Man taken to hospital after crash at Cambridge Park

A man has been taken to hospital after the quad bike he was riding rolled at Cambridge Park.

A statement from CareFlight said the man was initially unconscious and suffered injuries to the upper limbs after the bike rolled at a high speed in the afternoon of Wednesday, October 11.

“CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked to Cambridge Park shortly before 5pm, landing at the scene in Lincoln Drive Park,” the statement said.

“NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the scene and provided initial treatment.”

CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic provided further treatment at the scene and as they escorted the 30-year-old patient in a road ambulance to Nepean Hospital.​
