Panthers coach Anthony Griffin has named his 21-man squad to face the Broncos in Friday’s semi final at Suncorp Stadium, and local fans are planning to make the journey north for the showdown.

Peter Wallace was named as captain in place of Matt Moylan by Griffin on Tuesday, Moylan having been given time out from NRL to deal with personal issues.

Griffin also invited fans to attend the team's final training session this morning (Thursday) ahead of the semi final.

Local fans can enjoy drinks and a sausage sizzle provided by the club as the Panthers go through their paces ahead of the biggest game of the year.

The open training session will take place from 9.30am to 10.30am, this morning September 14 at Glad Group Panthers Rugby League Academy, located behind Panthers Penrith Leagues Club.

Parking for the event will be available at Panthers Penrith Leagues Club. Parking will not be available inside Glad Group Panthers Rugby League Academy, the club has advised.

The Panthers v Broncos match will take place at 7.55pm on Friday, September 15 at Suncorp Stadium.
