A man has been charged after allegedly urinating on a police car parked outside Penrith police station.
The man had been drinking at a High Street pub when the incident occurred about 11.50pm on July 8, according to a Penrith police spokesman.
“He exited the pub and was walking past the police station when he approached the rear side door of a police car and started to urinate on the car,” the spokesman said.
“The matter was reported to police, who checked CCTV at the police station and patrolled the area. They located the male a short distance away.”
A 26-year-old Katoomba man was arrested and taken to Penrith police station where he was charged with willful and obscene exposure and offensive behaviour. He was bailed to appear before Penrith Local Court on August 31.
