Bryce Cartwright has been cleared of serious injury following an on-field injury during yesterday’s (Sunday) win over Wests Tigers.
The 22-year-old took a knock to his ankle and suffered significant pain during the Panthers’ thumping 36-2 victory, forcing him from the field.
However in what will be welcome news to local fans, the club has released a statement saying the second rower has been cleared of serious injury
Scans completed today revealed no fracture, the club’s website stated.
“[Cartwright] suffered bone bruising which will need to be managed by Panthers medical staff during the week,” the website stated.
“There is still a possibility Cartwright will be fit to take the field against Sydney Roosters at Pepper Stadium on Saturday.”
