Kevin Kingston: 78-nil win a record

THERE'S a great feeling among the boys this week, as we prepare for the final game.

Winning our final home game for 2012 was special.

There have been a lot of comments about our form over the last couple of games, and I would probably put that down to a difference in defence.

I knew we always had that attack in us, and it came together against the Titans.

Stopping people from scoring, turning people away is a big part of why we're going so well, and that was a key to victory for us.

I'd also like to congratulate our NYC side on their huge win; it was record-breaking.

Seventy-eight nil is the biggest margin in NYC history, and we're really proud of the boys.

Zac Mackay also smashed the record for the most individual points in an NYC game: four tries and 11 goals is amazing.

We fly to Brisbane on Thursday, to take on the Broncos.

While the match will be a challenge, and the home side has a lot to play for, so do we.

We've been training hard. I hope to see some Panthers colours in the crowd at Suncorp.
