Businesses in the Penrith City Centre are being encouraged to improve access to their premises through the "All Welcome" initiative so that everyone can feel more welcome to shop or visit there.
Penrith Council will provide advice and guidance to businesses that apply to take part in the initiative and improve access to their premises.
The initiative was launched by mayor Greg Davies, with Gai Hawthorn from the Penrith City Centre Association, and members of the Access Committee at Millers Fashion Club, yesterday.
