A woman is in hospital after a police car collided with hers in Sydney's south-west, with two officers lucky to escape injury.
The officers were on their way to a domestic-related incident when their vehicle collided with a Holden Cruz at the intersection of St John's Road and Appin Street in Bradbury, in Sydney's south-west, at about 3pm on Sunday.
The 60-year-old woman behind the wheel of the other vehicle was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition after suffering chest injuries.
A man, travelling in the same vehicle, was also taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
Liverpool Local Area Command's critical investigation team will investigate the incident to ensure the police officers were complying with the Safe Driver Policy.
Meanwhile, police are appealing for any witnesses who have information surrounding the incident to come forward.
