New bridge is open
The new bridge at Surveyor's Creek, widened as part of the Mulgoa Road shared-use path, is now open. It will connect path users along Mulgoa Road between Penrith City Centre, Jamisontown, Regentville and Glenmore Park.
Penrith Council is building shared-use paths across the city to link public transport, schools, sporting facilities, community facilities, local centres and recreational areas. Over the past three years, the council has received $4.6 million from the Roads and Maritime Services for the shared-use paths program.
