Uni IT scholarship
St Marys resident Dorileen Marasigan is on her way to a career in IT after being awarded a University of Technology, Sydney Bachelor of Information Technology Co-Operative Scholarship.
The win, valued at $46,500, spans three years and includes two six-month industry placements, the first of which starts in second semester.
Ms Marasigan, who completed her HSC at St Marys Senior High School last year, is already working alongside industry professionals at her first work placement with ING Direct.
While there she will rotate roles to become familiar with the different uses for IT in the workplace.

Resort's new owner
