■ What would you say to a first-time voter as to why he/she should vote for you?
DAVID BRADBURY, Labor:
"I ask local residents to judge me on my experience and my strong record of getting results, including the $96.4 million redevelopment of Nepean Hospital and the massive improvements to our local schools and infrastructure.
"As a former Penrith councillor, mayor and now as the local federal Member of Parliament, I have been working hard over the past 14 years to get results for our community.
"But there is still much more to be done.
"That's why our government has positive plans for the future, including our Better Schools reforms, continuing the rollout of the National Broadband Network and implementing DisabilityCare."
DAVID LENTON, Greens:
"Every vote is an opportunity to shape the politics of tomorrow.
"A vote for me is a vote for a positive vision for the future, where the measure of successful policy is 'How will this improve people's lives?' and not 'How much can a select few profit from this?'
"A vote for the Greens is a vote for marriage equality, high-quality education for all, compassionate and practical solutions for supporting the most vulnerable in our society and a genuine response to climate change.
"It's a vote for the economy serving the needs of people and not the other way around."
