Local Land Services

Farmers, landowners and interest groups are invited to a workshop on Local Land Services, the new regional services delivery body that will be run from January next year.

The Penrith workshop will be held at Nepean Rowing Club on Tuesday, April 9, 3-6pm. The workshops will cover governance, boundaries and services.

Year 10 scholarships

Year 10 public school students interested in a career in finance, retail banking, legal services, human resources, information technology, accounting, marketing, communications and management should apply for the St George Banking Group Scholarship.

Nominations close on Friday, April 12, with scholarships available for 12 year 10 students now at a public school in NSW who are planning tertiary studies in these fields.

Prime truck show

For 25 years the trucking fraternity has cultivated their prize rigs into show condition to help charity. Each year 200 of Australia's finest trucks gather at the Museum of Fire for Australia's Premier Working Truck Show, with all funds directed towards saving our families from fire.
