Boardstock fun

Cables Wake Park Penrith will again host Australia's biggest and most popular cable wakeboard event, Liquid Force Boardstock.

On January 19 and 20 top riders from around the country and the world head to Penrith in a bid to win a share in the $20,000 prize pool.

Local rider Don Baker who has been competing in the open men's division in the Australian Liquid Force Summer Series, is also set to compete over the weekend.

Boardstock attracts national and international wakeboard stars each year for the pro divisions, but also encourages riders from any level to participate.

Penrith Cable rider Angelika Schriber has just returned to Australia to compete at Boardstock, off the back of her pro women World Wakeboarding Association world championship in November.

Events start at Cables Wake Park on Saturday at 9am.
