RATHER than a ball and goal line, this one involves dribbling a mouse online. Ahead of the 2013 season, Nepean FC club has launched a new website to help it provide more information to its supporters and enable better engagement with the community.
"We realised so many people were using the website we felt we had to update it and make it more user-friendly," said Nepean FC president Stacey Fanella.
"We want to run a lot of match reports and make it really interactive next season.
"The internet is the way most people communicate these days and it's a vital part of the club so we needed to make sure it was running the way it should."
Despite Football NSW rejecting Nepean FC's application for a spot in the Elite 1 or Elite 2 divisions for 2013, Ms Fanella said the club was excited about the season ahead.
"Absolutely! The buzz around the club is extremely positive," she said.
"We're a club which is developing and producing good quality players from local talent and everyone involved in the club is very, very focused on continuing to do that."
With the off-season soon to become the pre-season, Ms Fanella was adamant that the Nepean FC club would be very successful in the next year.
"December is about getting our teams on the training paddock and starting to bond and prepare for the season ahead.
"We're extremely confident, our numbers at trials have been phenomenal, the coaching staff we've got on board are fantastic and the general feeling of the whole club is a very positive one."
